About the Role
The Account Manager will operate as the lead point of contact between the client and internal team, while managing client accounts. An ideal candidate has the ability to foster long-lasting client relationships, act as a strategic consultant, and drive business for both the client and company. A successful candidate is detail-oriented but can also think of the ‘big picture’ strategy to drive our client’s business forward, while building long-lasting client relationships.
Define, manage and execute various types of projects for clients in order to maximize client business objectives, manage client expectations, and maintain profitability.
Foster collaboration among a cross-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional business results.
Maintains big-picture strategic and operational thinking balanced by strong attention to detail.
Provide resourcing recommendations and continuously monitor the effectiveness and bandwidth of the team.
Participate in meetings with existing clients and internal teams to identify new opportunities to meet clients’ evolving needs as required; serves as the subject matter expert on processes, capacity, timelines.
3-4 years of Account Management experience in a digital design environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem solving, organization, time management, and risk management skills.
The ability to be self-directed and work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of MS Office.
Experience with commerce projects and accounts.
Experience managing vendors/partners.
Familiarity with commerce development systems such as Salesforce, Magento, Episerver, or Shopify.
Familiarity with Drupal, Sitecore, Adobe a plus.
Having knowledge of the latest trends and tools in the industry are a welcomed addition to the role.
